SM I love the Easter Beagle After reading the book I hardly remembered the movie I knew that Snoopy was the Easter Beagle but I could not remember all of the little details I like how difficult it was for Marcie bowl an egg I like how Lucy was all about getting presents Most of all I liked how Linus was certain that the Easter Beagle would come just like the Great Pumpkin I did feel sorry for Charlie Brown because he was the only one who did not get an Easter Egg, but then again he has all th I love the Easter Beagle After reading the book I hardly remembered the movie I knew that Snoopy was the Easter Beagle but I could not remember all of the little details I like how difficult it was for Marcie bowl an egg I like how Lucy was all about getting presents Most of all I liked how Linus was certain that the Easter Beagle would come just like the Great Pumpkin I did feel sorry for Charlie Brown because he was the only one who did not get an Easter Egg, but then again he has all the rotten luck This book is strange It s clearly based on a TV special which I have never seen but that means that the book itself is choppy and hops from scene to scene, sometimes without a clear resolution Unlike the Charlie Brown Christmas special that is so wonderful, this book and the TV episode, I presume doesn t have much in the way of a moral or lesson My six year old son picked this out at the library and he was mildly entertained by it, but it definitely wasn t my favorite. Nothing but giggles from Mini Me when Marcie tries to help Peppermint Patty colour Easter eggs.
