I have read quite a few of this author s books now and enjoyed nearly all of them This is no exception The double time line theme is getting overused these days but Helen Goltz manages it well in Autumn Manor Current day events, as usual, bookend the historical ones, as the main characters and the reader slowly discover what actually happened all those years ago.The author s description of World War 2 is often harrowing and I think very real The London Blitz is described in detail and shows I have read quite a few of this author s books now and enjoyed nearly all of them This is no exception The double time line theme is getting overused these days but Helen Goltz manages it well in Autumn Manor Current day events, as usual, bookend the historical ones, as the main characters and the reader slowly discover what actually happened all those years ago.The author s description of World War 2 is often harrowing and I think very real The London Blitz is described in detail and shows that you did not have to go to the war to suffer the effects Main characters die and partners have to survive without them, just as really happened.This is a very readable story with interesting characters which I enjoyed very much, although I felt very sad for two of the main ones The ending is satisfying without being too glib Well worth a read This was such a new level of reading I had come across It was an amazing novel that had you feeling so many emotions The author made you feel as if you were actually living in that universe and that was the perfect thing this reader could ever have felt An amazing read It s actuallythan amazing You won t know what to expect unless you actually pick this book up and start your way through You will be in for an amazing adventure I loved the way the contents of the novel were written This was such a new level of reading I had come across It was an amazing novel that had you feeling so many emotions The author made you feel as if you were actually living in that universe and that was the perfect thing this reader could ever have felt An amazing read It s actuallythan amazing You won t know what to expect unless you actually pick this book up and start your way through You will be in for an amazing adventure I loved the way the contents of the novel were written The letters that were continuous in the novel was the main highlights I loved Anyone reading will love the amazing realistic feel you will definitely receive reading this Thanking the author kindly for the opportunity to have read and reviewed this novel.
