I don t normally choose books that fall under the romance genre, but as a dog lover, I don t know how I could have resisted the sweet, puppy face on the cover With head cocked to one side, those big brown eyes just beg for this book to be read and the book opens with the same scene from that movie, Return To Me, that always makes me cry the dog waits at the door for her deceased loved one s arrival home while the bereft husband watches with his own heart breaking all over againWith an op I don t normally choose books that fall under the romance genre, but as a dog lover, I don t know how Return To Me, that always makes me cry the dog waits at the door for her deceased loved one s arrival home while the bereft husband watches with his own heart breaking all over againWith an opening scene like that, it s impossible to stop reading I read it in one sitting It s a sweet love story built heavily upon coincidence and plenty of Homeward Bound like near misses at encounters between the two main characters It s a sweetly magical story and definitely heartwarming The ending feels a bit rushed, but it is still a satisfying conclusion and while I am not a usual reader for the genre, this PG romance is definitely right up my alley I am happy to have read this very sweet story When Dan loses his wife, his dog Anni is a big factor in helping him and his daughter pull through their grief When Anni gets stolen, it s hard for Dan to accept she s gone and he doesn t want to give up on her Andrea is healing from a painful divorce when she saves Anni from an apartment of young men not treating her right, and soon discovers a dog can be a girl s best friend Will Anni find Dan again, but will Andrea be able to give her up if she does This book was a super sweet contemporary When again, but will Andrea be able to give her up if she does This book was a super sweet contemporary and I throughly enjoyed it I really liked seeing the bond between both Dan and Anni, and Andrea and Anni Dog people are the best people, and I think I want to go to Cafe Mocha with my dogs This was a really fast read and it could be enjoyably frustrating at times when Dan came so close to finding Anni again and again I did like the ending overall, though I do think a lot of stuff got summed up very quickly in the last chapter, and I feel like there could have beendone I also think there would have been room for a nice sequel to this that could view spoiler have ended up with the proposal and a wedding starring Anni as ring bearer obviously hide spoiler Omg all the coincidences I read this book in a day I could NOT put it down As a dog lover and mother I grew so wrapped up in Anni s story I just had to know what was going to happen to the poor girl next And, the way she brought 2 people together that were so deserving of each other was truly inspiring It makes me want to write down my order and send it out to the universe, just to see what happens This is a story I could read many times, it really tugs at the heart strings, it mak Omg all the coincidences I read this book in a day I could NOT put it down As a dog lover and mother I grew so wrapped up in Anni s story I just had reality of a deceased loved one come to you in a dream to give you a message Very well written, this one will live on my kindle, never to be deleted I may be partial to this story because I have dogs and love them so much and would die if they were kidnapped, the way Anni acts is just like how my babies are to a T I m also a nurse who works on a memory impaired unit, just like the place that gets visited so much in the story Just an awe inspiring story, thank you Karen McQuestion, for such a heartwarming story You have increased my faith in humanity After the death of his wife, Dan is in a holding pattern He lives for his daughter, his dog and work When Anni, the dog is stolen from his yard he and his daughter are devastated and immediately start a desperate search for her Andrea works as an office manager for a property manager but she pretty much runs the business When tenants complain about a dog in one of the apartments she manages she takes it on herself to get to the bottom of about a dog in one of the apartments she manages she takes it on herself to get to the bottom of the complaint What she finds is Anni chained on a balcony in the snow Impulsively she takes Anni and they quickly become inseparable Hello Love is a pretty good, very sweet little love story It mostly works but the constant missing each other by minutes got to be a little too much I mean she goes down the elevator just as he s going up They bump into each other at a coffee shop the one day she hasn t got Anni with herand on and on To be honest I was getting a little frustrated with it all by the end but the author seemed to realise this and decided to tie things up It dragged a little in the middle but the ending was great Dan is recently widowed His dog, Anni, has played an important role while he and his daughter work through their grief When Anni is dognapped, they are both devastated all over again Christine is recently divorced She ends up rescuing an abused dog from tenants in a building she manages It s Anni Anni helps her adjust to single life again by providing companionship and love. Most of the book is dedicated to how fate is trying to bring Dan and Christine together, presumably through the dog Dan is recently widowed His dog, Anni, has played an important role while he and his daughter work through their grief When Anni is dognapped, they are both too There was so much build up and anticipation for how Dan and Christine were going to get together, but then when it happened, the action just kind of fizzled out and became uninteresting It was still a cute book but it could have been better Sorry to say it, but this is one of the worst books I have read in the last 1 2 years The plot line is so predictable that it s a bore to read It s painful to watch how the author struggles to make Dan and Andrea NOT meet, so that the suspense is held a little while longer The positive characters are too positive and the negative ones are too negative, while they are not described well enough to actually understand what kind of people they are, what they think, what their beliefs are, etc Sorry to say it, but this is one of the worst books conflict, it ends with the most corny marriage proposal one could think of, really embarrassing Not to speak about the way the author almost runs through the closing part of the book, like she just wants to resolve all open ends and finish with it.One might say that I shouldn t have had any high expectation from a book of this category, and I didn t, but I compared it with the other chick lit I read, not with Dostoievski, and it still comes out bad.Even the cover is so cheesy the title Hello Love is too telling and the picture of a nice dog meant to soften our hearts to buy all is so obvious, I should have known better Lesson learned .Free E-pub ☧ Hello Love ♕ From the bestselling author of The Long Way Home comes a charming novel about two strangers who find a second chance at finding new love story Made me cry and laugh Hello Love by Karen McQuestion is a book that brought out so many emotions while reading it There is humor, sadness, frustration and happiness I do not so many emotions while reading it There is humor, sadness, frustration and happiness I do not think it is easy to write a book that is able to make the reader feel all of that, but that is exactly what Karen McQuestion managed to do Dan has lost his wife to cancer and he is having a difficult time moving on with his life He and his daughter, Lindsay, are just trying to get by a day at a time They have each other, and their dog Anni, and they know that life must go n But when Anni is stolen, it is almost too much for them to bear As months pass with no sign of Anni, Dan realizes that they have lost her, too, forever But Lindsay refuses to give up hope She is sure that her mother is visiting her in her dreams and is trying to lead them back to Anni Andrea is trying to deal with her own her ex starts coming around again to try to reconcile, she knows that she no longer loves him and is better off without him Now she just has to convince him of that. This book is one that pulled me in from the very beginning and never let me go There are so many different feelings that I experienced while reading There are parts in the book that are funny, there are parts in the book that made me really sad A lot of the time I was feeling frustrated because, although Dan and Andrea have a chance meeting, they kept just missing each other concerning Anni It was a good frustration, the kind where you just think, no don t leave yet, just wait and you ll see Anni but the author had other ideas Then just when you thing finally , a tragedy happens There is suspense concerning Anni and Andrea s ex and I had to keep swiping pages to see what was going to happen. The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read The characters are well developed and three dimensional and I enjoyed learning about them and getting to know them The supporting characters are well developed too and added a lot to the story And Anni is a dog I would love to meet.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted heartwarming book about second chances You do not have to be a dog lover to enjoy this book, but I think if you are you will enjoy it evenJust looking at the cover made me want to read this book I have not read any other books by Karen McQuestion, but if they are all this good, I am going to enjoy reading them.I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review And my honest opinion is that this is a great read I would like to thank NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book
